The next two frames are from a different section of the movie and depict the first stage in creating computer generated creatures.
Computer animated creatures were used when ever the puppets were
shown walking, running or climbing because these are beyond the capability of even the fully articulated puppet creature. The story boards are very usefull in helping the computer animaton artists understand exactly what they need to do.
