FX team's Lighting Reference Balls!

This image is from the set of Tremors 3 Back To Perfection. Here effects supervisor Linda Drake holds up two mysterious balls for the camera prior to shooting an effects shot. These balls capture a record of the lighting on the set, making it easier to light and composite the CG creatures later.
