Martian Under Skull Computer generated graphics used in film lack the ability to interact on screen with actors. Because of this limitation many directors require physical effects to be created for use with the actors on set. This image is from the archives of Amalgamated Dynamics Inc., an effects company specializing in this area. Here we see the under skull of the martian character from My Favorite Martian. The mechanics of the skull were designed by Dave Pennacus, one of the key mechanical designers. This head has over 47 servo's in it to create all of the various functions to bring the character to life.
