Mud bath

Postby GreenStripe » Wed Jun 16, 2010 11:15 pm

I read the thing about rain and what my first thought was, "Could a graboid become stuck in the mud?" Assuming enough rain could fall to flood a fair portion of perfection, wouldn't that cause trouble for El Blanco? Mud isn't as stiff as dirt, I don't think he could swim through it. Although I admit it would have to be a pretty big mud puddle for El Blanco to be come hopelessly stuck.

Don't Graboids breath through their skin while underground? Like Earthworms? If so, a massive rainstorm would cause them all to surface to breathe. Which would look very cool.

I always assumed they had some kind of internal long. Given their size I doubt they could take in enough oxygen to meet their needs through their skin. Plus, I'm still convinced they can use their tentacles like snorkels. That would explain how they can hiss.

That would be a logical reason as to why the hiss...I like it.
