Tremors 5 and so on

Postby Snakeoid » Mon Mar 01, 2004 7:48 am

Would anyone consider the idea of making any more tremors a good idea?
Of course everyone would, including myself :)
But i vote for some more original names -
Such as episodes in Star Wars or Parts in Kill Bill
It will sound a bit more systematic, don't you think?

New titling

Postby Action_Burt » Mon May 03, 2004 7:27 am

I agree, titling needs to be changed a little. Must a number be in every film?

Planet of the Apes didn't. James Bond doesn't.

Like Starwars, I see the need to include Tremors in the title. I understand that Michael Gross doesn't want to hog the action, so I guess a "Burt Gummer: Monster Hunter" title is out too.

Hmmm... if the next film were set in Africa, I guess it could be titled something like: TREMORS ON THE DARK CONTINENT... or CONGO TREMORS... heck, even AFRICAN TREMORS... Of course, these titles all make it sound like some cheesey rip off movie...

How about, TREMORS: GRABOID SAFARI?

Well, I think there's arguments either way on the numerating of movies. You've got all those Rocky movies numbered. Scream, Jason, Jaws, and The Howling are all numbered. Star Trek numbered their movies all the way to Generations, then dropped the numbers.

To be honest, I don't care if they name them or not as long as they keep making them! 8)

BTW: Tremors fans are not "Tremmies". We are not "Grabbies, Sand Rats, Shreikies, nor Blastoids". Tremors fans are "Perfectionists"! :D

I don't mind there being a number in the titles, as I'm a fan of those generic horror movies and have all the dvd's I'm used to seeing "Part VIII" and stuff like that.
How about a wink to james Bond ?
